In the final episode of actually serious, Channa and Aaron are joined by Limor Raviv, a Minerva research group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics and lecturer at the University of Glasgow to talk about language evolutions and adaptations– including and not limited to how elephants and humans are alike in what’s called self-domestication. They also get into the evolution of communication and appearances across different species over generations of domestication (animal domestication).
