We all love a good trope when it’s in our favorite books — enemies to lovers, found family, the chosen one — but how well do they hold up in real life? (Spoiler: not great). In this episode, we compare the tropes that make fictional worlds addictive with the messy, awkward, and far less cinematic way they play out off the page.
