Rebecca Sasson
Rebecca (23) is originally from the US and grew up in Los Angeles. She moved to Israel in 2018 with Garin Tzabar and was a combat soldier in the Search and Rescue Brigade. She is currently studying at Reichman University in the Samy Ofer School of Communications.

Recognizing the need for women lone soldiers to be seen and heard, whether currently serving, in reserves, or navigating life after service, they set out to create a space for support, belonging, and empowerment.
Lone Front is a non-profit dedicated to amplifying the voices of female lone combat soldiers and those in meaningful service, providing both financial assistance and community connection.

We took a little sabbatical, but we’re back and better than ever. You’re about to listen to two girls trying to navigate life as former lone soldiers and olot chadashot in Israel.
This season, we’re bringing you every angle and corner of our lives, sharing advice from our “friyar” days (that still sneak up on us sometimes), and talking honestly about the journey. We’ll have amazing guest speakers from the lone soldier and olim community, one of the most diverse and special worlds out there.
We’ve also decided to put a spotlight on womanhood this season, all the beauty, challenges, and chaos that come with being a woman in your 20s, especially while building a life in a foreign country that has become our home.
